Back in December of 2014 a bunch of friends met at the home of the Godfather of Cyclekart Racing, Dennis Thomas, to see something we have never even heard of. This really cool guy had a garage full of hand-built, 1920s-inspired, 2/3 scale, totally awesome, open wheel racers. You know, the kind that ran in the Grand Prix of Monaco back in the 20s and 30s? The logo design for VKC had to match the greatness of the moment. Iconic, automotive, cool and able to stand alone. And, black and white is the true test of a logo. If it works in black and white, you’ve done your job. And in this case, the mission was accomplished. Want a closer look? See their amazing pieces of drivable art perform every year at the annual Vintage Kart Co. Grand Prix of Scottsdale.
